Zeng Yanbing, second-level professor at the School of Literature, Renmin University of China, doctoral supervisor, and visiting professor at Tianjin Normal University. He serves as chief editor of the compiled materials Foreign Literature Research at Renmin University and a visiting researcher at the Wang Zuoliang Institute of Advanced Studies in Foreign Literature, Beijing Foreign Studies University.
His research mainly focuses on comparative studies of Western literature and Sino-Western comparative literature, post-modern literary and cultural studies, with a particular focus on Kafka studies. Some of his representative works include Studies on Kafka, Franz Kafka and Chinese Culture, Approaching Comparative Poetics and Manuscripts on Postmodern Literary and Cultural Studies. He has published over 300 academic papers in journals such as Foreign Literature Review, Literature and Art Studies, Foreign Literature Research, and Foreign Literature. Additionally, he has translated works and academic essays totaling hundreds of thousands of words.
