On the afternoon of May 28, He Xiaoqi, Secretary and Deputy Director of the Xi’an Qujiang New District Talent Exchange Center, along with Dr. Cui Fan, Secretary-General of the Russia-China Friendship Association’s Education and Technology Development Foundation, visited our school. Dean Cao Ruonan and Deputy Party Secretary Liu Jianbo of the School of Foreign Languages at Northwest University warmly received them and held a discussion. Cai Hongyan, Deputy Director of the Russian Department, and Zhang Biyun, an academic affairs teacher, also attended the meeting.

At the discussion meeting, Dean Cao provided a brief introduction to the development history, educational situation, and specialized features of the school. Deputy Party Secretary Liu Jianbo gave a brief overview of the current employment status of our graduates, and Deputy Director Cai Hongyan introduced the current training model for Russian language professionals.

Both Dean Cao and Deputy Secretary Liu expressed their hopes that Secretary-General Cui could facilitate the introduction of high-quality Russian educational resources suitable for our school, thereby helping to enhance the construction level of our Russian language program and other disciplines, and promoting the school’s international exchanges and cooperation. They also expressed the desire to establish cooperation with the Xi’an Qujiang New District Talent Exchange Center in areas such as graduate employment and internships, and archival storage.

Secretary-General Cui provided a detailed introduction to the development history of the Russia-China Friendship Association’s Education and Technology Development Foundation and the Russian Committee for Education Work with China, highlighted the achievements in Sino-Russian educational, scientific, and cultural exchanges. He expressed appreciation for the school’s educational philosophy and specialized features, and conveyed his expectations and confidence in facilitating exchanges and cooperation between our school and high-quality Russian universities.

Deputy Director He briefly introduced the functions and service content of the Xi’an Qujiang New District Talent Exchange Center. Minister Qin Nan gave an overview of work related to innovation and entrepreneurship internships for international students and services for foreign talents in Qujiang New District.
