At 4:30 p.m. on March 13, 2024, the school held the foreign teachers' work conference for the second semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. Leaders of the school, directors of various departments, and foreign teachers of English, Japanese, Russian, and Arabic attended the meeting.
Dean Cao Ruonan first reviewed the work of foreign teachers in the previous semester and invited them to engage in interactive discussions regarding the issues encountered in teaching and research. Dean Cao emphasized the management of classroom discipline and the supervisory system for classroom observation at both the school and department levels, and encouraged foreign teachers to actively participate in research activities, competition guidance, community service, and other activities. Foreign teachers such as Robin Gilbank, Andrew Smith, Cynthia Liu, and Tomoko Takahashi introduced the progress in teaching, research, competitions, and proposed plans for the new semester. The school leaders and department directors provided detailed responses to the feedback from foreign teachers, and clarified support policies in creating a friendly and collaborative environment for our foreign teachers to further enhance the internationalization of our school.
