On the afternoon of November 29, 2023, the School of Foreign Languages held the Third "Chang'an Africa Forum" preparatory work progress meeting, chaired by Dean Cao Ruonan. Members of the forum preparatory group and relevant personnel attended the meeting.
Dean Cao Ruonan first provided detailed explanations on the overall situation of the forum, emphasizing that the preparatory group should raise political awareness and strengthen division of responsibilities. They should continue to refine the work plan on the existing basis, enhance departmental communication and coordination, closely cooperate with each other, accurately implement tasks at every stage, and ensure the continuous and efficient progress of all work. Subsequently, the members of the work group discussed key tasks such as the opening ceremony agenda, reception arrangements for participating experts, forum venue arrangements, division of tasks for activities, expenditure items, and conference services, ensuring clear division of responsibilities and effective implementation of forum preparatory work.
Finally, Dean Cao Ruonan emphasized that the preparatory work for this forum has entered a critical stage, and members of the work group should welcome and organize the forum with the best spirit and highest professional standards.
