On the afternoon of December 6th, the School of Foreign Languages held the second work meeting on the preparation of the third "Chang'an Africa Forum." Prior to the meeting, the Party Committee of the School of Foreign Languages provided full guidance, actively coordinated with the functional departments of the university, and coordinated the various liaison tasks of the conference, deploying the detailed arrangements for the conference. This meeting was chaired by Dean Cao Ruonan, with Professor Wang Xingang from the School of History, Director of the Africa Research Center at Northwest University, and Associate Professor Zhang Yuyou from the Middle East Institute of Northwest University attending to provide guidance on related work.
During the meeting, Professor Wang Xingang emphasized that the third "Chang'an Africa Forum" is about to be officially held, and all members of the organizing committee must work together and make every effort to ensure the successful convening of this forum. Subsequently, members of the preparatory working group reported on the progress of various preparatory work. It was reported that up to the time of the meeting, various tasks such as venue arrangement, agenda scheduling, guest invitations, and conference services have been progressing in an orderly manner, laying a solid foundation for the successful hosting of the forum.
Finally, Dean Cao Ruonan fully affirmed the preparatory work of the working group and made suggestions for existing issues. She hoped that everyone would ensure the complete success of this event in all aspects with a more open mindset and pragmatic actions!
