To further strengthen the construction of the second foreign language curriculum in our school and enhance the research and professional abilities of second foreign language teachers, a teacher’s work meeting was held in the conference room on the fifth floor of the West Building on October 18th. The meeting was chaired by Dean Cao Ruonan.
The meeting mainly focused on strengthening teachers’ responsibilities, standardizing teaching arrangements, improving exam paper design, strictly enforcing examination regulations, and clarifying teachers’ research directions. There was extensive and in-depth communication and exchange on these issues. It led to revisions and improvements, and achieved consensus on the aforementioned matters.
Finally, Dean Cao encouraged and mobilized young teachers to leverage the platform of the university. By utilizing their language advantages and riding on the fast track of area studies, they can explore their research potential and interests, and create new points of growth in research. At the same time, they should actively integrate high-quality resources, engage in teaching and research activities, proactively apply for various projects at all levels, comprehensively enhance their research and teaching abilities, and contribute to the development of teaching and research in our school.
