(Dean Cao Ruonan presided over the meeting.)
Dean Cao first reported on the recent application status of projects aimed at improving the quality of graduate education. She also combined the recent expert evaluation of the degree-granting points with the assessment results to review and deploy the standards for tutor assessment, the requirements for new tutors, student employment situations and recent work. She emphasized the need to align with the evaluation criteria for degree-granting points, clarify the focus of work, leverage disciplinary advantages, and further improve the construction of our school’s degree-granting points. Additionally, she stressed that all tutors should promptly understand students’ employment aspirations and ideological dynamics, provide timely and effective assistance and guidance, and enhance students’ confidence in employment. Subsequently, the tutors discussed and exchanged views on relevant issues.

The supervisor workshop is an important part of faculty development, which plays a significant role in advancing the quality-oriented development of our graduate education. Through active interaction and effective collaboration among supervisors, it deepens teachers’ understanding of our graduate education and related policies, and strives to foster a collaborative atmosphere throughout the school, where everyone cares about, supports, and promotes the high-quality development of the supervisor team.
