The editorial department held the first Japanese Culture Competition just before the opening ceremony of the sixth Foreign Language Festival to show their talents in Japanese and improve the interest in learning it. The theme of the competition was “Study together. Mutual competition , and common progress”.
The competition was divided into three parts: Japanese reading, Japanese songs singing and Japanese speech contest holding separately in classroom 2510 on the evening of November 25 and classroom 2506 on December 1. The judges were consisting of foreign teacher Shanben, postgraduates, and Japanese students. There were 55 students attending this competition. The players’ authentic pronunciation, beautiful intonation, sweet songs, and fluent speeches won the applause of judges and audience.
