On November 10, the 7th Foreign Cultures Festival of School of Foreign Studies (SFS) opened on the south campus musical square ceremoniously. The leaders and teachers attended the festival are: Tian Bingquan, the dean of WNU students affairs department , Yan Hanping, the secretary of WNU Youth League Committee, Wang Qiang,the party secretary of SFS, Kang Lianke, the vice party secretaryof SFS, as well as some other leaders and teachers.
Tian Bingquan firstly delivered the opening remark, saying that students' activities are part of the campus culture construction and the key way of quality education and students' spiritual civilization construction; that the Foreign Cultures Festival did satisfy the increasing spiritual and cultural needs of students and promoted their cultural literacy; that in the past six festivals, the later one really outdid the previous one, and it has become an expectant cultural event among teachers and students every year; that he also wishes greater achievements of promoting students' cultural literacy will be attained with the SFS students' and teachers' active exploration and continuous innovation.
