Party and Youth League Work

According to the unified deployment of the University Party Committee and administration, the activities of style improving and management strengthening in the School of Foreign Languages went orderly. On September 23rd, the College held a party and government joint meeting to study the university’s arrangement of the activities of “work style improving, management strengthening”, which focused on the studying and understanding of the spirit of the speech made by the secretary Qiao Xueguang in the mobilization meeting of the university. The meeting decided to set up college "leading group of work style improving," seriously discussed the problems of teaching, management and services in the college, and made a comprehensive arrangement to the activities of work style improving and management strengthening.

On September 28th, the College convened a mobilization meeting of “work style improving, management strengthening”. On the meeting, the president Cui Yaping read “the Note of Northwest University Communist Party Committee about Carrying out the Activities of “Work Style Improving, Management Strengthening” in Northwest University”. Secretary Wang Qiang conveyed the spirit of the speech made by university secretary Qiao Xueguang in the mobilization meeting of the university, and made a comprehensive arrangement and deployment of the college’s activities of “work style improving, management strengthening”. Requirements were made for all employees of the School to further unify their thinking, fully understand the importance of the activities. It was called that all staff should effectively improve their work style, based on their own and combined with the central work of the School and university, and should make some contribution to the management strengthening of the college and even of the university.

After the mobilization meeting, the School separately held forums of teacher party members, the teaching assistants and student party members, which seriously discussed the practical significance of this event, how to carry out activities well, as well as the active role each staff and student should play in the activities.
